Sunday Morning: Procedure Change

Good-sorta-morning to everyone!

I would like to announce a bit of a procedure change in how we accept and reject pieces.

I would like to make a note that we are very open as to what is accepted into the group. This will not be changing! Anything literature, we accept pretty much all there is!

Previously, if your piece was submitted into the wrong folder, a comment would be made on the submission process notifying you which folder it belonged in, and letting you know you will need to resubmit into the correct folder. We will no longer be notifying submissions as to why they have been rejected IF, and ONLY if, they have been submitted into the wrong folder. If your piece is rejected for a different reason, we will still be leaving comments letting you know why.

To make it clear, for those of you who possibly have not read the rules, our folders are as follows:

Featured - We do not allow any member submissions into this folder.

Feature Suggestions - If you have a piece you would like to suggest for our weekly feature folder, please submit it here. Please note, this folder is regularly "cleaned out," or has its contents removed from the group on a regular basis. Pieces submitted to this folder will not remain here for more than a week.

Open For Critiques - This folder should be considered a secondary folder. For those of you who have pieces open for critiques (either by dA's critique system, or you're looking for some thoughts), please be sure to submit to one of the folders below BEFORE submitting to this folder, as pieces may be removed from this folder. Unless it is also submitted elsewhere, it may be fully removed from the group when this folder is cleaned.

Prose - For all things fiction! Stories, novels, chapters, introductions, short stories, flash fiction, and vignettes!

Poetry - Song and dance, anyone? Poems, songs, traditional, fixed, haikus, and free verse. All things poetry belong in here.

Fan Fiction - Prose - As the title says, all fan fiction stories (in prose form) belong in this folder. Please do not submit any fan fiction items into the regular Prose folder shown above.

Fan Fiction - Song and Poetry - This may be an odd folder, but apparently it does exist! If you wrote a poem or song (or even a songfic) surrounding a OU/AU/etc, and you can literally consider it fan fiction, please submit it here. Do not submit any fan fiction-related poetry or songs into the regular poetry folder.

Non-Fiction, etc. - If it doesn't belong above, it probably belongs in the Non-Fiction folder. Reviews, guides, rants, raves, and more, please submit them here.

Adult - This folder majorly speaks for itself. Unfortunately, many of you are still confused. The adult folder is a conglomerate of all the above folders. If the topic is sensitive in nature, requires a mature tag, may be considered sexually explicit, over-use of language, hints or describes fetish topics, or anything of the like, please submit these pieces here. It doesn't matter if it's prose, poetry, or fan fiction; if it's adult in nature, it belongs here.
